Last Update: April 12, 2024 • Maternity
My indoor maternity sessions take place in a cozy studio in Downtown Seattle. The studio features an exposed brick wall for a unique look, floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful light, and white floors. Together, this will give your maternity photos a unique and timeless feel.
The studio setting provides more privacy, allowing you to feel a little freer in photos, and is convenient for multiple outfit changes and looks.
The maternity studio photo shoot is also a great option for rainy Seattle winters and provides an excellent alternative to an outdoor session when the weather could be unpredictable.
If this is how you want to document your pregnancy, you are in the right place. Let’s dive in.

Sample Maternity Deluxe Studio Session with Just Parents
I offer my studio maternity session in two options: Deluxe (Full) or Mini (Half). The key difference is the length of the session and the number of photos included (more on that below). Here are sample photos from several Deluxe sessions:
In Client’s Words:
“My husband and I absolutely loved our experience with Lana! We worked with Lana for a Deluxe Maternity Shoot and are thrilled with the results. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (which is quite a feat), she was clear in her instruction and guidance, and she made it a very fun environment overall. The quality of images is unmatched, and we hope to have the opportunity to work with Lana again in the future as the little one grows!” –Shannon S.

FAQs
When is the best time to have a maternity session?
The ideal time for your maternity shoot is when you are between 28 and 32 weeks pregnant, when your bump will be showing, and you are still able to move around comfortably. However, every woman is different, and I am happy to work around your schedule. I recommend booking a month in advance to give you time to prepare.
We are not good at taking pictures; will you guide us?
I will direct and guide you the entire time, so you don’t have to worry about posing or feeling awkward.
What is the best way to dress for our session?
Upon completing your booking, you will receive an email with prep info and tips, including the outfit inspiration guide and online styling service, to help you look your best for the session.
When and how will I get my images?
You will receive your online proof gallery within four days after your session. Seven days after you submit your selections, your hand-edited images will be delivered via a separate online gallery.
